Please bring ID to pick up your packet.
Timing chips will be given at the start line.
Helmets are required on the bike course. Swim caps are not required.
If you are a first time open water swimmer or nervous about the swim, please email [email protected] with SWIM CAP as the subject line and your name to receive a designated swim cap that will allow our water team to see you better in the lake and be in closer proximity to you in case assistance or a rest break is needed. These are limited in number and are first come first served.
Please see the bike route information and familiarize yourself with the route and directions. We have alerted the homeowners that we will be hosting an event and ask each of them to put up any animals that may try to chase bikes.
There will be volunteers, police, highway patrol and deputies on the route as well as signage alerting motorists to slow down and watch for bikes. Your safety is our number one concern. Please be alert at all major intersections and be cautious of oncoming traffic.
No vehicles will be allowed across the dam once the race has started. If you experience an emergency, please see a staff or volunteer member to be escorted out.
Portable potties will be located in the parking area. Park restrooms are located in the pavilion at the end of the dam closest to transition and the park entrance.
We are looking forward to race day and appreciate your support for the very first Queen City Triathlon. If you have additional questions that are not answered on our website, please email [email protected].
